Data made visible, places made legible.

I'm Claire, I'm a data designer and cartographer with a background in political sciences and humanitarian communication. I work at the intersection of data analysis and design to create maps and visualisations that tell clear, accurate and empathetic stories about conflict.

My work spans editorial projects, non-profit reports, journalism, and public data. I believe good information design is to visualising what editing is to writing. It is not about decorating data or making it pretty, it is about revealing what matters.
